Nigerian superstar, Wizkid has been nominated in two different categories at the 2022 Grammy Awards which is billed to hold in January next year.
Wizkid was nominated for the Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards. The nominations were released on Tuesday, the 23rd of November 2022.
The Grammy Awards is arguably the biggest night in the music industry every year, as the creme de la creme come together to reward the efforts of the best talents of the year in review. The 2022 event will hold on Monday, the 31st of January at the Staples Center. The 2022 Grammy Nominations is the third step in the Recording Academy’s process of selecting this year’s winners.
Wizkid was nominated in two categories at the 2022 Grammy Awards, with one nomination for his last album, Made in Lagos in the Best Global Music Album category. His song with Tems, Essence also grabbed a nomination in the Best Global Music Performance category.
