USA Visa Lottery 2023/2024 – How to Apply for free

If you are interested in applying for the American lottery, also known as the Diversity Visa (DV) program, you can follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website of the DV program at usvisas.state.gov and fill out the online application form. You will need to provide some personal information, such as your name, date of birth, country of birth, education level, marital status, and passport details. You will also need to upload a recent digital photo of yourself that meets the specifications on the website.
  • After you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation number that you should keep for future reference. You can use this number to check the status of your entry on the same website. The entry period for the DV-2022 program is from October 7, 2020 to November 10, 2020. You can only submit one entry per person. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
  • If you are selected in the lottery, you will be notified by email or by checking the website. You will then need to prepare for an interview at the U.S. Embassy in Ghana. You will need to bring your original and copies of your passport, birth certificate, educational certificates, police clearance certificate, medical examination report, and any other documents that may be required. You will also need to pay a visa fee of $330 per person.
  • If you pass the interview and your visa is approved, you will be able to travel to the United States as a permanent resident. You will have six months from the date of your visa issuance to enter the United States.
