Police have captured two people having to escort with dancehall Artist Stonebwoy’s group for supposedly attacking a driver after they were engaged with an auto collision on the Bibiani-Abuakwa street on Saturday night.
As per the Abuakwa Divisional Police Commander, Chief Supt. Yaw Obeng Asubonteng, the data they have assembled shows that the dancehall performer and his group were heading out to Kumasi after an exhibition at Bibiani in the Western North Region when one of the vehicles they were in associated with the accident.
As indicated by the police, two people from Stonebwoy’s group at that point held one of the drivers engaged with the accident prisoner and beat him up.
“As per the data we had the vehicle which slammed into the runner transport didn’t stop. The driver sped on and another vehicle which was following, two people from that vehicle confronted the driver that had the mishap with that of the performer.”
“They beat him and held him prisoner in their vehicle and they were sending him to one or the other Kumasi or Accra,” he said.
Boss Supt. Yaw Obeng Asubonteng discloses to Citi News that the police watch group subsequent to accepting the data pursued them and in the end captured them at Abuakwa where the two people were kept for barely an hour prior to they were moved to the Bibiani Police for examinations to start.
