“MOBO Awards” – Wizkid beat King Promise, Davido, Burna Boy and others to win historic Best Africa Music Act

Nigerian Superstar Wizkid has already had a year to remember for himself and has now added into his collection a new one from MOBO Awards.

The 2021 edition of MOBO awards took place today with morals and expectations very high in several musical camps.

The main Category eyes were on in the African Continent was the “African Music Act” Category given to the overall best musician in Africa.

There were high profile names on the Nigerian dominated nomination list including Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, CKay and Ghanas very ownKing Promise.

Wizkid stood tall among them all and won the award. Interestingly, this is his 5th win making him the most awarded in the award category’s history.
