
Hiplife artiste, Samuel Frimpong, famously known as Medikal, has been remanded to jail authority for five days.
This was the decision of a Circuit Court judge in Accra on October 22, 2021, on the artiste’s first appearance in court for waving a weapon.
Medikal, who has been accused of show of arms and ammo, argued not blameworthy to the charge.
At the consultation on Friday, counsel for the Ghanaian rapper, Emmanuel Yeboah Gyan, asked the court to concede his customer bail as he is a decent resident and had family on reserve to meet the bail conditions.
In any case, the arraignment went against the supplication, contending that the singular freedoms of Medikal to bail are compliant to the local area interest, which should be ensured. He further contended that pieces of the case are as yet being scrutinized.
Managing Judge, Emmanuel Esandoh, favored the indictment and remanded Medikal to the Ankaful detainment facilities in the Central Region for five days.
