Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has sent a message to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to the effect that he has not gone into hiding, but that he is acting on the prophecy that he was going to be shot and taking precaution.
It emerged that Shatta Wale had been shot and hospitalized but police said they couldn’t find the hospital in which he was receiving treatment.
Hours later, Shatta Wale revealed that it was a prank to get the police to act on an alleged false prophecy by one self-acclaimed prophet.
Police have been on Shatta Wale’s heels and have been unsuccessful in locating him.
But Shatta Wale through social said that he was not hiding from the police.
“IGP Am not hiding but the information I have is what I am acting on.
I HAVE REPORTED THIS BEFORE AND YOU GUYS ARE TELLING ME TO COME REPORT AGAIN ? Wow ..Ghana Ampa ?” He wrote.
Social media users have condemned Shatta Wale for deceiving the public and causing unnecessary fear and panic.
