
Ghana’s coach Milovan Rajevac has raised to the suggestions for him to resign after failing to qualify the Black Stars to the knockout stage of the 2021 AFCON following an embarrassing defeat to Comoros.
Milovan Rajevac specified that he has an incomplete business with the West African nation and he will not resign as the Black Stars head coach.
Ghana suffered a defeat ar group-stage exit at the AFCON after the four-time champions were beaten by Comoros in the final Group C game on Tuesday night.
“I’m not leaving, I want to stay and qualify Ghana to the World Cup,” Milovan Rajevac said.
“We didn’t start the game against Comoros how we wanted and we conceded an early goal. It was a poor start for us and and then the red card to Andre Ayew changed everything. I think Comoros deserved this win because they played very well than us,” he concluded.
The result in Group C will go down as one of the biggest shocks in Nations Cup history as Comoros scored at the finals for the first time and then went on to record a memorable maiden victory.
