Chelsea sacks Head Coach Thomas Tunchel

Chelsea have declared that Head Coach Thomas Tuchel has been sacked.

The German Coach, who won the Champions League with the Blues in 2021, was sacked after Tuesday’s 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb.

“Chelsea Football Club has today left Head Coach Thomas Tuchel,” Chelsea said in their authority articulation.

“In the interest of everybody at Chelsea FC, the Club might want to put on record its appreciation to Thomas and his staff for every one of their endeavors during their experience with the Club. Thomas will properly have a spot in Chelsea’s set of experiences subsequent to winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here.

“As the new proprietorship bunch arrives at 100 days since assuming control over the Club, and as it proceeds with its persistent effort to take the club forward, the new proprietors accept it is the perfect opportunity to make this progress.

“Chelsea’s instructing staff will assume responsibility for the group for preparing and the readiness of our impending matches as the Club moves quickly to designate another lead trainer.

“There will be no further remark until another lead trainer arrangement is made.”
