Kizz Daniel is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who has made a name for himself in the Afrobeats, pop, and R&B genres.
He was born as Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe on May 1, 1994, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. He studied Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and pursued music as a career alongside his studies.
He started his musical journey in 2013 when he signed a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment and released his debut, single “Woju” in 2014, which became a hit song in Nigeria and beyond. He followed up with other successful singles such as “Laye”, “Mama”, “Yeba”, “My G” and “Buga”.
In 2017, he left G-Worldwide Entertainment after a contract dispute and court case and founded his own label, Fly Boy Inc. He also changed his stage name from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel to avoid legal issues with his former label.
Under his new imprint, he released his second studio album, No Bad Songz, in 2018, which featured collaborations with artists like Wizkid, Davido, Nasty C, Diamond Platnumz, and Sarkodie³.
The album received positive reviews from music lovers and critics and debuted at number 55 on the US iTunes Chart. In 2020, he released his third studio album, King of Love, which consisted of 17 tracks of love-themed songs.
